September 25, 2009. iDent Imaging has announced the release of version 4.0 of Scan2Guide and ImplantMaster, its applications for implant placement and surgical guide manufacture.

Version 4.0 includes a significant upgrade of the companys 3D volume rendering module. Visualization of patient anatomy and implant location is greatly improved, and provides the user with easy-to-use and custom controls of the parameters of the CT images of the jaw. The 3D module is powered by Fovia`s HDVR engine.

Based upon the incorporation of the new 3D imaging platform, iDent will continue to develop and launch additional tools for providing implant dentists with advanced visualization to improve the planning and placement of dental implants.

iDent is pleased to announce that it has moved to new offices located in Foster City, California, close to the SF International Airport. The new facility includes administration, a surgical guide manufacturing facility, and seminar space for conducting training on the company`s products.

October 15, 2008. iDent Imaging has announced the release of version 3.3 of Scan2Guide and ImplantMaster, its applications for implant placement and surgical guide manufacture.

The main areas addressed in the new version include:

• A new way of handling, storing and retrieving data, and planning cases
• An improved method of storing implant libraries
• A new capacity to easily update implant libraries
• Improvements and bug fixes

While many of the changes relate to internal architecture and not the overall planning interface, the main thrust for this version has been to make it easier to plan cases, and provide easier tools for adapting the implant libraries in a quickly developing implant market. This version enhances the iDent solution as the fastest and easiest way to go from dental scan to surgical guide.
